Mavanie Ariza - Coach & Lunger
Mavanie is the founder and coach of Salt Creek Vaulters with over 16 years of equestrian vaulting coaching experience.
She started the program in 2016 with one student while expecting her first child and has continued growing her passion for horses and vaulting ever since.
Along with working at Mona Elementary and being a photographer, she loves helping youth build confidence, strength, and connection through the sport of equestrian vaulting.
Myah Cobbley - Coach
Myah Cobbley began equestrian vaulting 4 years ago and quickly developed a passion not only for the sport, but for coaching as well. She has been coaching with Salt Creek Vaulters for the past 2 years, where she enjoys helping young athletes build confidence, skills, and a love for horses.
Outside of vaulting, Myah stays busy playing percussion in her high school band and participating in FFA. She is also known for making some of the best sugar cookies around!
As she graduates this year, Myah is preparing for an exciting new adventure as she moves to New York City to attend Manhattan University. Her dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm make her a valued part of the Salt Creek Vaulters family, and she has a bright future ahead.
Caitlin Probst - Coach & Vaulter
Caitlin Probst began equestrian vaulting 8 years ago and has grown into a talented and dedicated vaulter. Her love for the sport led her to begin lunging a few years ago, and last year she stepped into the role of assistant coach with Salt Creek Vaulters.
Caitlin’s spunky and energetic personality brings excitement and positivity wherever she goes. She has a natural ability to make people smile and keeps the team laughing with her fun-loving spirit. Outside of vaulting, Caitlin enjoys tumbling, spending time with animals and her dogs, and is always climbing, hanging, or moving—she never seems to sit still for long!
Her enthusiasm, athleticism, and caring nature make her a wonderful role model and an important part of the Salt Creek Vaulters family.
Abigail Jones is an intelligent and hardworking member of the Salt Creek Vaulters team. She loves reading, horses, and learning new things, and is actively involved in both horse 4-H and equestrian vaulting. Abigail is currently in her 4th year of vaulting and her 2nd year as an assistant coach.
Known for her kind attitude and strong work ethic, Abigail is always willing to step in and help wherever she is needed. She is eager to learn, dependable, and dedicated to both the horses and younger vaulters she works with. Her passion for horses and positive example make her a valued part of the Salt Creek Vaulters family.

Meagan Smith - Coach & Lunger
Meagan Smith began equestrian vaulting at just 4 years old and quickly developed a love for the sport. Over the years, she has competed in numerous competitions both individually and as part of a team, gaining valuable experience and a deep passion for vaulting.
At 12 years old, Meagan began working alongside Mavanie as an assistant coach, where she discovered her love for teaching and encouraging young vaulters. Today, she continues coaching while also embracing life as the proud mother of a handsome baby boy.
Outside of the barn, Meagan enjoys crocheting, painting, and all kinds of crafts. Her creativity, kindness, and lifelong passion for horses and vaulting make her a valued part of the Salt Creek Vaulters family.
Jennie Probst - Lunger
Jennie Probst joined the Salt Creek Vaulters family 8 years ago when her daughter, Caitlin, began vaulting. What started as supporting her daughter quickly grew into becoming an important part of the team. Last year, Jennie stepped from being a “vault mom” into the role of lunger, where she helps care for both the horses and vaulters with patience and dedication.
Jennie is known for her caring nature and willingness to help wherever needed. Outside of the barn, she enjoys photography and spending time with her family and animals. Her love and support for the vaulting community make her a valued part of Salt Creek Vaulters.
